A once in a lifetime night to remember that cannot be missed. An evening with one of the most inspirational brewers of our time; Jean Van Roy of Brasserie Cantillon. A weekend battle for the ultimate sensory experience in beer..or just a simple afternoon of crushing beers in the sun. Two of the most prolific flavour profiles in the game go head to head. On the one hand bitter, and the other sour. Double fist if you must, and go back and forth until your pallet taps out.
On Thursday, April 20th, 2017 starting at 5pm we will be featuring an amazing line up of Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project from Denver, Colorado on tap and in bottles.
Crooked Stave uses traditional brewing methods to pay homage to the old-world styles that result in flavor profiles of extraordinary complexity. Each Crooked Stave beer is fermented with the wild yeast Brettanomyces, which lends a dry, earthy character, affectionately known as “funk.” Nearly all Crooked Stave beers are conditioned in barrels or oak foeders with a house mixed sour culture, rendering beers with balanced acidity and smooth vinous notes.
